Feeling a bit guilty that I won’t be home for Mother’s Day (or Father’s Day) this year. Particularly since my ‘rents decided to take my Vespa plans into their own hands yesterday. I intend to ameliorate my guilt by using words like “ameliorate” (which I’m sure my mother taught me) and reminding all my other friends not to be bad sons and daughters.
